Max_Roxanne Make It Work

This is easily one of the hardest things I've ever drawn. From the pose to the details, and all the little adjustments I had to make in between, this took me a span of 2 weeks to finish (granted I had my schedule to deal with too).

So, we have here my 3rd re-creation of an image from So You Think You Can Dance. The first 2 were admittingly easy since I wasn't confident enough to sketch more difficult poses, but I think now I'm ready to move ahead and do some more. (BTW, they won't all be with Max and Roxanne, I'd like to include other characters).

So, this pose comes from a hip hop routine in Season 3, originally danced by Sabra Johnson (season winner) and Dominic "DTrix" Sandoval, choreographed by Shane Sparks. For me, it's an okay routine but this freeze helps it stand out (unintentional pun).

I'm thinking of sending this to Dtrix, if at all possible.
